Final Decision

My group and I selected this music video to recreate as it is comical and easily attainable regarding location, actors and editing. It features a number of shot types, rendering it slightly more complex, however, more visually interesting.

After researching existing music videos my group and I shortlisted the ones which appeared to be most visually interesting and easily attainable in terms of editing, location and participants. These are our choices:

AS - A2 Transition Project Brief

In order to prepare for my A2 Media Studies coursework I require to complete an advanced portfolio. 
Within this task I will need to:

• Work in a group of 3 or 4 people to plan and produce a reconstruction of a minute from an existing music video
• Gather evidence research into the conventions of my chosen brief over the summer starting with codes and conventions of my media form with examples, and also the genre of the text I intend to produce (i.e. music video conventions and rock conventions as an example)
